Five days, one bag of spinach.
The same fridge, told the way it happens. Every screen here is the one you would actually be looking at that day.

You buy spinach with good intentions.
It goes in the fridge, and into Ambry in about four seconds: type “spin”, tap the row. No date to pick, no form to fill. Ambry gives it five days, because that is how long a bag of spinach lasts in a fridge, and starts counting.

Life happens. Ambry doesn’t let it.
Nobody opens the crisper drawer. This is the part every other app leaves alone. Ambry has been counting the whole time; the row went orange on Tuesday, and this morning the phone says it plainly, once, before you go shopping: two items need attention, spinach expires today, bread went off yesterday.

Dinner is already picked.
The Cook tab ranks what you can make tonight by what is about to turn. Shakshuka, twenty-five minutes, and the spinach goes in it. One ingredient short of something else? It goes on the list in a tap.
The app changes the middle of the story, not the end.
